Burger is Love at Take Eat Out
I was bored on a one hot summer afternoon when I stumbled on a Facebook post of a Cafeteria named Take Eat Out that offers free delivery since they are celebrating their 2nd anniversary. Well, I got curious! Sino ba namang hindi kapag normal kang tsismosa? Hahaha. Their cafeteria is not popularly known here in our area and when I tried to ask my friends if they are familiar with the place or if they tried the cafe's menu, I got a big NO! The adventurous side of me was born and so I grab my bag and head to the place once the clock strikes at 07:00 pm where my office works ended. Hila-hila ko si office mate. Mandadamay ako.
And yeah! To cut it short dumating ako doon around 07:30 na ng gabi at nagmamarakulyo na yung mga alaga ko sa tiyan. (LoL) Ang hirap kasing hanapin nung place Bes! Signage is too small and I wasn't expecting na sa isang masikip at nasa isang crowded rented stall nakatayo yung cafeteria.
I took a picture of what's inside the cafe and so I came to a conclusion na yeah, maliit nga siya compared to other stores I've already went to. Three round tables that can cater approximately around 16 people plus one counter where 4 people can sit and dine and another two small round table outside na hindi ko masyadong irerecommend since mainit po sa labas. But one thing led me to another, this place had fun things that they can really offer.
While we wait for our order, I found out that the place is a WI-FI assisted area. It has also a television that is powered by an Apple TV device where customers can enjoy watching YouTube and Netflix. The best part, that time na nandun kami we were watching Fliptop Battles. Yanig!
The best corner?? The Artist's Wall. Take Eat Out Cafeteria support local artist by providing space in their wall to promote the local artist's arts and works. When I made a peek, it consists of an album by Bahay Katay (a hiphop group) and t-shirts from various Rap Filipino Artists.
Take Eat Out Cafeteria has also this FUN Cabinet wherein a customer can freely read some of the cafeterias available books, board games, artboards, puzzles and musical instruments that include a 40+ year old Guitar used in the Vietnam War. I immediately noticed Da Vinci's Code at gusto ko siya ulit basahin pero kinakawayan ako ng nung mga snakes and ladders. Namiss kasi namin ang isa't isa. So, with the help of my office mate, I said my gorgeous Hi to those snakes. Played with them. And yeah! Fortunately, I won the game. Better be! Manlilibre kasi yung talunan. Hahaha
Just in case, customers who happen to have some business also can post their calling cards and contact information on a board provided.
And finally, the orders came in one by one....
Meet THE GODFATHER... the mouthwatering burger overflowing with awesomeness and flavors. It is composed of (2) Burger Patties, (2) Sliced Cheese, Bacon, Egg, Hash Brown, Spam, Tomato, Onion, Cucumber, Lettuce, White Cheese Sauce, Cheese Sauce, Tomato Ketchup and Mayonnaise. This burger is so lit that I can bet you CANNOT bite it all from bun to bun.
We have also tried super messy (the one on the left) and the 4Horsemen (the one at right). Wala lang! Patay gutom kami eh. Don't ask me what the burger consists of. Hindi ko na hinimay himay.. Malala na yung pagkagutom ko that time.
And yeah yeah yeah! We're not yet done indulging ourselves that night!
So, we dig into their creamy basil pesto pasta, their mouth-watering Pork Sisig and yummy Nico Nachos.
I cannot imagine how we survived that night. How we really survived that night when all we got were stares from the kitchen staff and a super Good Luck from the cafeteria owner. I knew it! That superb night, I got a big belly tummy and a cafeteria that will be included in my favorite anti stress food, work out place plus a bag full of "hindi namin maubos, tinake-out namin ang tira" kind of pasalubong to my mother. Hahaha!
For the price, here's a 'kinupit' copy of their menu. Be the judge!
