Well, I have already finished watching Season 1 and Season 2 of The Flash series somewhere earlier this year. And I want to recommend the show for those people who love watching superhero fights against those super villains just to save his/her precious city. I know the story can be cliche for others or the plot seem to be redundant in some part but I really found the show too good with those unexpected twists and turns of the characters. The series never needed to be gritty to reach viewers on a human and emotional level. It's an undeniable fact. The series brought more than an awesome sense of humor, drama and action on the table. Those funny and humor episodes we got from Barry Allen to Cisco Ramon to Dr. Harrison Wells or even Detective Joe West. Those tears jerking moments that really did break my heart over and over again. Then came Season 3. I wanted to watch and finish the series in a flash, but I felt that I already forgot the story of the fastest man alive and so without a second thought, me, myself and I decided to do a marathon of re-visiting the said series and jotted some of those cute quotable quotes that really made sense after all.

Every kid dreams about being a superhero. Having powers, saving people. But no kid thinks about what it's like to be a hero and not saving people. Truth is, not much else changes. You still hurt, you still love, you still wish and hope and fear things, and you still need people to help you with all of it. In some ways, that's the best part. - Barry Allen from Season 1 Episode 2
What does it take to be a superhero? I browsed the net and I found Batman's answer. "A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy’s shoulder to let him know that their world hasn’t come to an end.” I smiled at the end of the quote because I remembered my father when I asked him if he does have a hero that he looked up to. He answered that heroes are everywhere. That heroes are mere regular people who have gone above and beyond, leaving their selfishness for another day. That we all have a superhero inside us waiting to be discovered.
It doesn't matter if you're the slowest kid in gym class or the fastest man alive, every one of us is running. Being alive means running; running from something; running to something or someone. And no matter how fast you are, there are some things you can't outrun; some things always manage to catch up to you. - Barry Allen from Season 1 Episode 3
Yes, I do believe that even how fast you are, some things will always, always be ahead of you no matter what. But hang on because oftentimes, running maybe the only thing that makes sense. Just run. Don't stop running. Even if they said that you cannot do it. Even if they say that the road was too long or the journey was too arduous, just run. Don't stop running because who knows, the one that always catch up to you will one day be tired chasing you.

For every person you save, there's going to be someone you can't. And the hardest thing you're going to have to face is not some monster out there with powers. It's gonna be that feeling of uselessness when you can't do anything. Or the guilt that weighs on you when you make a mistake. Some things Barry, you can't fight. Some things, you just have to live with. - Joe West from Season 1 Episode 3
We always wanted to be a hero. To be a hero to those people we care, for those people we love. And when failed to become one, we lose ourselves. We tend to create our own monster within ourselves. More often than not, we tend to blame ourselves for all the bad things that go happen along the way and for all the things we think we can change the endings if we just fight and hold on more to that. We don't realize that there is a time when to stop fighting. That sometimes in order to win a battle, giving up is an option. Give up and live with what lies ahead because there are those times that the more we try to fight, the more complicated things happen. It won't be an easy part. It would be painful, but no matter how painful it is, it's the only way we can grow.

Yet we’re sitting here, pining for people we can’t have. - Barry Allen from Season 1 Episode 4
I thought Barry Allen was the right guy who would fall for Felicity Smoak. He was the guy who Felicity needs when Oliver Green doesn't want any commitment. She was the girl which can help him heal his broken heart from his first love. They are perfectly made for each other. She was a computer geek and he was a scientist. They were both genius. I was rooting for them to be a couple. I prayed. I wished. But fate falter because still at the end of the day, they still hope for the love that they can't have. Humans as they, we always fall in love with people we can't have. We embraced the pain. The pain of knowing that the people we love will never ever look at us the way we look at them.

How often do you think about why your friends came into your life? Was it random? By design? Or maybe a little of both? Regardless of the reasons, some friends you just know are gonna be by your side for a while. Others, you're not so sure. And then there's that one friend who... Well, you hope one day becomes something more, but friend will have to do for now. And that's okay, I guess. - Barry Allen from Season 1 Episode 5
Barry Allen for being a best friend to the one he loves. Double Ouch! One of the saddest things that can happen is when one falls in love while the other wants nothing more than friendship. You are stuck somewhere you think you don't belong. The problem? You don't want to go out on that zone because the only and the best way to stay close to the one you love is by just being friends, even if it damn hurts.
For a guy who has experienced his fair share of mysteries, one mystery I still can’t figure out is why some people come into our lives. Why some people go, and others become a part of you. Some friendships feel like they’ll last forever… Not every friendship is meant to last a lifetime. What does last forever is the pain when that person is gone. - Barry Allen, Episode 5
I learned that people leave even if they promised a thousand times that they won't. That's life. We are destined to meet them. What really sucks is they are not destined to stay longer. They are destined to stay in our hearts, but not in our life. Painful as it may seem, it will linger forever. Because memories of those people who left will never die. Those memories will soon sneak out on our eyes and will roll down on our cheeks once in a while. We can't escape that pain because sometimes just thinking about those people is enough to hurt us all over again.

I want you to take a moment and think about all the things that define your life. All the people you love. Your job. Your co-workers. Your home. And now imagine if one day in a flash all of that vanished. Do you simply accept your new life, continue on or would you do whatever it takes to get back what was taken from you? - Harrison Wells from Season 1 Episode 22
Definitely, there will be a moment in our life where we want to give up something just to take back something in return. That moment where we want to change the course of the event just to make the ending more happy and acceptable. The problem? We are just human. We cannot turn back time nor change what have been done. We've just need to take a hit and learn something from it and get back up from our knees again, or get back doing whatever we do, and try even harder this time. After all, life is about learning from our mistakes... learning from bitter experiences and using them so next time we know what to do if we see ourselves in the same situation.

Being a superhero isn't always about how fast you can run. It's about helping however you can, wherever you're needed most. - Caitlin Snow from Season 2 Episode 3
Superman once said, "There is a superhero in all of us, we just need the courage to put the cape on". Yes! I believe that all humans have the capacity to be his own version of a superhero. We just have to find our unique power and ability and exploit it for the greater good. The cape and mask are all just accessories. What we really need is a good heart and a clean mind.

Sometimes you just have to slow down to get back to where you want to be. - Henry Allen from Season 2 Episode 7
Most of the times, we hurriedly want to get the things we really want to have or rush over to a dream we have been wishing for a long time without knowing that it becomes a nightmare already. We might tend to get excited, but there are times that we need to breathe and take things slowly. Do not worry. Do not hurry. Slowing down is sometimes the best way to speed up. Life is a journey. It is not a race. Enjoy the scenery. Stop rushing and complicating things that need time to breathe and grow. Remember, there's no harm in taking things with too much caution. Slow down. Sweetheart, you're doing fine.

Sometimes the only way to move forward is revisit the things in your past that were holding you back. You have to deal with them head-on, no matter how scary they may be. Because once you do, you'll see that you can go further than you've ever imagined. - Barry Allen from Season 2 Episode 17
Did you try to look into your past, even once? Or are you afraid to take a look back knowing it will re-open some wounds? Believe me, dear, there are those times that we can't let go of those past if we don't face them again. Either we run from it forever until it catches us or learn something from it. Yes, the past can hurt us all over again, but we cannot conquer those pains and heartaches without choosing to face them once more. Always, remember that we have to look back in order to understand the things that lies ahead.
